Senior .NET-developer

About the Role

Hyperbolic is seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer to join our team. You will play a pivotal role on a high-impact project for our largest client - a biopharmaceutical company. In this role, you’ll maintain and build new features for a sophisticated editor used to build recipes for producing medicine in a complex, regulated domain using Event Sourcing.

We are looking for someone who can be our new MVP on the above mentioned project and immerse themself fully, but down the line as the backlog of feature requests shrink, opportunities to work on new projects will present themselves.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable backend services using .NET 8 and EF Core following Clean Architecture principles.

• Specify and build REST APIs for the React frontend to consume.

• Write thorough Unit and Integration Tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

• Architect and optimize application solution and database structure.

• Work with our Solution Architect to deploy the solution across multiple on-prem sites in Denmark and USA as well as our internal AWS environments

• Dive deep into a challenging domain and learn about biopharmaceutical manufacturing and the client’s business processes

• Occasionally communicate directly with the client’s stakeholders and users as the application expert in order to answer questions about functionality and bugs.

Required Experience & Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with .NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Databases, building REST APIs, Clean Architecture, Unit & Integration Testing.

• Proven experience in Application Architecture.

Bonus Points For

• Practical experience with Event Sourcing, CQRS, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

• Experience with Solution Architecture, writing technical documentation, diagrams, etc...

• Good soft skills and a flair for talking to stakeholders
